HMRC have published new advisory fuel rates effective from 1 January 2009
These figures give about one month's notice of the changes and apply to all journeys on or after 1 January 2009 until further notice.HMRC propose to update these twice a year.It is up to the taxpayer to decide whether to use these rates or whether to keep sufficient information to be able to justify other figures.
