My Linked In Journey
My Linked In journey started some three months ago when I first registered. I played around with it and added a profile. My eyes were really opened up to how Linked In could benefit me when I met MP at a Corporate Finance Network in the Autumn of 2009.
Update January 2010
After three months of working on Linked in I now have completed my profile (and edited it a couple of times!). I have also gained two recommendations from connections and worked my way through the system and all of its features.
I haven't updated my blog as much as I would have wished and this is something I am going to work on in February. I am also going to try to connect with people via their blogs to expand the online network!
Update 28 October 2009
I have completed my profile now, except for recommendations, and have started to build contacts. My network statistics show that with just 9 contacts I have a reach to around 69,000 people! I have also added the Amazon application to show the books I am reading.
