XERO - making book keeping easy

SIMPLE. SAFE. SECURE

That's how XERO, the online book keeping software company, describes its online book keeping solution. I have been working with XERO now for around 9 months and think that the slogan could be changed.

Yes, XERO is incredibly easy to use, with comfortable data entry processes, understandable reports and an intuitive back end that runs the whole show and makes it a pleasure to use.

Yes, XERO is safe and secure using all of the latest security standards and back up routines you would expect.

BUT

I think that XERO has another HUGE advantage that makes it a great application . . .ITS MOBILE.

Small businesses and SME's today are not confined to one location, they are mobile, they work over many miles and even cross international boundaries. They are also influenced by "Generation Y" who have started to infiltrate them and who are themselves, mobile.

So if we are communicating via mobile systems such as facebook, Linked-In, Skype and email / text it makes sense for all of our business systems to also be mobile. XERO offers that ability as it can be accessed from any browser in the world and also via your smartphone.

You can view bank balances and transactions, view how much your customers owe you, send invoices and view and use contact information from your smartphone.

Maybe the slogan should therefore be SIMPLE. SAFE. SECURE & MOBILE
