HMRC now to target electricians

Following their campaigns into other trades people HMRC have announced that they will be focusing on electricians from February 2012. Called the Electricians Tax Safe Plan (ETSP) then net will be cast quite wide to include "anyone who installs, maintains and tests electrical systems, equipment and appliances under stringent safety regulations".

With around £2.00million of tax revenue collected already from the Tax Safe scheme it's not surprising that HMRC are using similar tactics.
